include a search box

What it needs the most in my opinion is a search box. There should be wild card capability and by default it should be loose. By loose I mean if I type in 'cat', the search box should pull up everything with 'cat' in it by default including dcat, catd, without resorting to wildcards such as *cat*. To add to the usefulness of the program, in the long run however, you might also consider any adverse conditions the program might need to run under. For example, .exe gets messed up and someone is trying to use your program to repair the registry. What if the registry on the main 'C' drive gets messed up, is your program dependent on being on the registry to run, or can someone run it on a separate non-registry drive independent of windows registry? My experience is that a program like this someone rarely uses but when they need it, they need it bad. I might also have an option to color code certain files (the different picture files for instance, or critical system files as another way to help someone find something in a sea of data.
